YouTube was created by three former PayPal employees — Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim —
in February 2005. Google bought the site in November 2006 for US$1.65 Billion.
Since then the world of Youtube beauty influencers and beauty vloggers have exploded into the
limelight of success from doing what they love to do, “Makeup & Skin Care”.
I have to be completely honest with you, I have learned basically everything I know
about makeup from watching my favorite YouTubers over the years. These amazingly,
beautiful YouTuber -beauty gurus have come a long way since filming their first videos and
sharing their beauty tricks and tips to the world. Who is your favorite Beauty Influencer?
Here are a few of my favorite YouTube Beauty Influencer that definitely knows a
thing or two about beauty……..
#1 Carli Bybel-
She is absolutely gorgeous and very talented. I’ve watched her grow in her makeup skills since she started
her channel back in December 2011. Carli has come so far in her YouTube journey.
She has since gone on to release her very own makeup line by the name of Pranavabeauty in which she
collaborated with BHcosmetics to create her 14 different shades of highlighter and
eyeshadow, filled with neutrals, pinks, and deep plum colors, so there’s a little bit of everything to choose from.
Then she went on to surprise us once again this year with her bigger and better
Carli Bybel Deluxe Edition 21 Color Eyeshadow & Highlighter Palette. This palette features
11 original shades plus 10 chic new shadows and highlighters in a buttery, perfectly
blendable formulas with her fascinating staying power, Carli launched the palette
back in 2015 exclusively on the BH Cosmetics website.
As of June 2016, it’s also available at Ulta.com. It became available in Ulta Beauty stores nationwide,
in August 2016, It’s a must-have if you love pastel pinks and shimmery gold eyeshadows as
much as I do myself. Carli Bybel didn’t stop there, she collaborated with the label
Misguided to bring us her own sexy line of women’s apparel.
#2- Jaclyn Hill-
She too started her YouTuber venture in the year 2011. Before starting her channel she worked as a
freelance makeup artist in Tampa, Florida as well as working at a MAC Cosmetics store.
She has become one of the most recognizable beauty gurus on YouTube.
For her first release, she collaborated with Australian cosmetics brand, Becca,
producing a best-selling a highlighter with the name “Champagne Pop”. The collaboration is referred
to as Becca x Jaclyn Hill.
She then went on to collaborate with Morphe Cosmetics to create a palette containing her
favorite Morphe eyeshadow products.
She then worked with Morphe again, creating a new eyeshadow palette called the
Jaclyn Hill Palette which was released in June 2017. She blew us away after
receiving over 7 million views within one month of releasing a video with reality mogul
Kim Kardashian West, entitled “Get Ready With Me & Kim Kardashian | Jaclyn Hill”
# 3 -Nikkie De Jager-
From the Netherlands and is better know as “NikkieTutorials” s ” started her channel way back in the year of 2008.
In 2011 she joined Pascale Tesser’s agency called Colourfool Agency.
With Colourfool Agency, Nikkie has worked on some great projects like Hollands & Benelux’s Next Top Model,
Miljoenenjacht & The Face. She worked for spreads in magazines like Marie Claire, Linda, Talkies, and Fashionista.
2012 she signed for a monthly beauty-column in Teen Magazine Fashionista.
In fall 2013 she became the makeup artist for RTL5’s I Can Make You a Supermodel with Paul Fisher. 2014,
Nikkie started working for herself as a Freelance Hair & Makeup Artist.
In 2015, one of her videos was the beginning of a social media campaign called #ThePowerOfMakeup,
in which she made her half face clear to make the difference clear.
Nikkie collaborated with Too Faced to create “The Power Makeup Palette”.
Unfortunately, even though the palette allegedly made the makeup brand over $9 million dollars,
Nikkie was only paid $50,000 for the collab. Plus, Nikkie received terrible backlash for the
poor quality of the palette. In January, she hinted on Twitter that she had been played dirty by
Too Faced. On August 13, 2017, Nikkie was surprised and won the
